SARANAC LAKE - New York State Women Inc. invites local residents to light a "memory" bulb in remembrance of a loved one on the Memory Trees in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid.
The cost is a donation of $2 per memory.
Memorials can be left in collection boxes at Aubuchon Hardware, Coakley Ace Hardware, JC Penny's and NBT Bank in Saranac Lake, and at NBT Bank Outpost and the North Elba Town Hall in Lake Placid.
The money raised from the Memory Tree donations will go toward the annual scholarship that is a awarded to a local woman who is continuing her education.
