PAUL SMITHS - The Paul Smith's College VIC?will host the following events this weekend:
New Moon Art Show at the VIC: The current art show "Creative Companions," featuring Jeri Wright and Gail McKay will be on display in the VIC great room through Saturday.
-Tucker Farms of Gabriels is supporting winter activities at the VIC with a red white and blue spuds sale with a percentage of the proceeds. Ten-pound bags of locally-grown potatoes are $8 per bag. Pre-orders are appreciated by calling the VIC at 518-327 -6241. Potatoes can be picked up on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
-Weather permitting, the VIC will be skiing and snowshoeing on the expanded VIC winter trail system. Jamie Savage will be on hand to sing seasonal and Adirondack-themed music from noon to 3 p.m.
Mark Manske of Adirondack Raptors will do a special winter presentation with his birds of prey at 1 p.m. There will also be craft items on hand to help trim the VIC Christmas tree and refreshments will be served.

Next weekend
Saturday, Dec. 29: "Father Time" 5 and 10 K cross country ski races. Registration begins at 10 a.m. First start is at 11 a.m. Prizes will be awarded. Registration fee for 5K is $15, or $25 for the 10K. VIC season pass holders receive a $5 discount on registration. There will only be on the day registration for this event.
