To the editor:
I am writing in favor of the skateboard park for the Saranac Lake community! I truly believe our youth need more free, accessible activities. Skateboarding promotes discipline, exercise and focus! My 9-year-old son loves skateboarding but has to travel to other towns to safely practice and participate. Please allow the park to come to Saranac Lake; it will be a positive experience for both our youth and community! Thank you.
