Saranac Lake Trustee Paul Van Cott tries on the sunglasses and mask that are part of the “Instant Recusal Kit” he was given as a Christmas gift Monday night by village Mayor Clyde Rabideau. Rabideau noted that Van Cott has to recuse himself from village business at times because of his job as a lawyer for the state Adirondack Park Agency.
