On behalf of the fourth- and fifth-grade teachers at Petrova, I would like to thank Jim Griebsch for sharing his movie of Historic Saranac Lake with the fourth- and fifth-grade students. We cover local history in social studies, and the movie was a wonderful way for the students to actually see what our town used to look like. There were some students who got to see relatives in the movie.
I would also like to encourage residents to watch for the next public viewing of the movie. I know you will enjoy it. Thanks again to Jim; the kids loved it!
