CHAZY - The Chazy boys basketball team used a big second quarter to take control of what became at 46-29 victory over Lake Placid on Tuesday night.
Chazy's Brandon Laurin and Hayden Guay combined for 17 points in the second quarter as the Eagles outscored Lake Placid 21-7 to take a 29-11 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Garrett Woodruff and Tarik Cecujanin each scored 11 points to pace the Blue Bombers' offense.
Laurin led all scorers with 18 points, to go along with seven assists and four steals.
Lake Placid fell to 0-2 with the defeat.
