To the editor:
It has been 16 years since the skateboard park has been on the table for the village board to finalize.
This is pure nonsense. These folks have had many car washes, etc., etc., etc., involving kids who really want to skate, and whenever a site is proposed, there seems to be opposition
Two generations have passed on through, and STILL NOTHING has been decided. Fortunately, there are still people who can see all the benefits involved.
I'm certain that the members of the village board didn't run for that position thinking they'd win any popularity contest.
Sixteen years is long enough! Make a decision before another group of youngsters loses out.
Please plan to attend the next board meeting on Monday the 26th at 6:30 p.m. upstairs in the Harrietstown Town Hall
