Alton and Lucille Beideck celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends at Saranac Village at Will Rogers on October 12, 2012. The party was hosted by their children Alan and Ellen Beideck of Saranac Lake and Marian Roth and Joseph Potrzuski of Saratoga Springs. Grandchildren Alissa and Elena Beideck were in attendance as well as all the residents of Will Rogers.
Mr. and Mrs. Beideck moved to Saranac Lake in 1992. They previously lived in Corfu and were married there on October 16th, 1942. Mr. Beideck is retired from the Penn Central Railroad and Mrs. Beideck worked for the US Postal Service.
The Beidecks have two children, Alan (Ellen) who resides in Saranac Lake and Marian (Joseph) who lives in Saratoga Springs, New York. The couple has five grandchildren, Aaron (Maria) Roth, Jesse Roth, Alissa, Alex and Elena Beideck and two great-grandchildren, Quinn and Cassidy Roth.
