No trivial matter

To the editor:

Smartypants Trivia was a fun and successful evening that put the Parent Faculty Organization closer to buying the mobile computer labs for Saranac Lake High School. If you missed the contest, look for the next one in January.

Whopping thanks go to the 12 savvy teams and volunteers, which included more than two dozen SLHS teachers and students. The Cliffords edged out a win over two teams that tied for second place: Wait, George Knows and You've Been Schooled.

We're always grateful to our host, Saranac Village at Will Rogers, particularly Debbie Kanze and the resident Wizards team. From the PFO, Tracey Schrader and President LeeAnne Baker assembled a scrumptious dessert buffet where the chocolate fountain flowed freely!

Next up is a pasta fundraising dinner Dec. 3 at Blue Moon. Join us for great eats served up by students and friends.

'Til January, keep practicing
