To the editor:
While I have no knowledge of the incident mentioned in Rikelmy Williams' letter in Tuesday's Enterprise, I do have a great deal of knowledge regarding the Williams family. It was my pleasure to teach two of the Williams children a few years ago, and in so doing, I got to know both Mr. and Mrs. Williams. I could not have been more impressed by the entire family. The parents were warm, kind, supportive people who were raising wonderful children whom I still consider to be my friends!
I would like to apologize to you, Rikelmy, for the behavior of the offenders involved. Please know that anyone who knows any member of your family knows how lucky Saranac Lake is to be able to call you neighbor and friend.
