Jason Fletcher, of Saranac Lake, was promoted to the rank of chief petty officer.
Fletcher is a U.S. Navy Seabee, which is a member of the Navy's construction battalion.
He is the son of Janet and Steve Fletcher, and he's married to the former Rachel Hahne.
