October 11, 2012
Associated Press

FORT DRUM (AP) - The 10th Mountain Division is unveiling the Army's newest communications equipment at the unit's northern New York home.

Officials at the post outside Watertown have invited the media to Fort Drum for this morning's introduction of the Capability Set 13 for soldiers in the division's 3rd Brigade Combat Team.

According to Fort Drum officials, CS 13 is the Army's first package of radios, satellite systems, software applications, smartphone-like devices and other network components that provides integrated connectivity from the static command center to the commander on-the-move to the dismounted soldier.
