LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid School of Ballet & Dance, in collaboration with The Bookstore Plus, will hold the second annual Tutu Tea Party from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.
The event includes tea, hot cocoa and cupcakes, face painting, crafts - including both wand and sword making - story reading, live music, interactive games, a scavenger hunt, a dance demonstration and photo opportunities. Each child will receive a tutu to take home. There will be raffles and door prizes and giveaways.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children. To ensure there are enough tutus, interested guests are encouraged to RSVP to the LPCA as soon as possible at 518-523-2512.
