To the editor:
With so many in Congress either not understanding or ignoring the U.S. Constitution, wouldn't it be great to have a constitutional scholar in the U.S. Senate? U.S. Senate candidate Wendy Long is a constitutional scholar who was a law clerk for Judge Ralph K. Winter of the U.S. Court of Appeals, and later a law clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Wendy Long will fight to protect our liberties, including religious liberty, while Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand will continue to support the Health and Human Services mandate against religious liberty.
Mrs. Long was endorsed by the Gotham Tea Party, and here is a snippet from their press release why: "Gotham was impressed by Wendy's grasp of our core ideals of fiscal conservatism, constitutional government and the preservation of free markets."
