SARANAC LAKE - Starting this Saturday, Oct. 6, the Adirondack Carousel will begin hosting Milk and Cookies Saturdays. The first series will feature the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge & Rehabilitation Center, based in Wilmington, which will present live animal presentations at 11 a.m.
The schedule of animals is as follows:
-Oct. 6: Birds, with a raptor
A kestrel is held by Wendy Hall at Adirondack Wildlife Refuge & Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington. The center will bring some kind of raptor to the Adirondack Carousel in Saranac Lake Saturday

-Oct. 20: Snakes and snapping turtles, with a boa constrictor
-Nov. 10: Red fox, with a fox named Pippen
-Nov. 17 and 24: To be decided.
A $10 donation is suggested per family to attend each animal presentation.
