Tour de Tri-Lakes

September 27, 2012
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

The sixth annual self-guided tour of the places where local artists work, as described in last week's Weekender, is this Friday through Sunday.

More than 60 artists can be visited throughout the Tri-Lakes villages of Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and Lake Placid, as well as Paul Smiths, Vermontville, Jay and Wilmington. Several venues will feature multiple artists and their work, including the Paul Smith's College Visitors Interpretive Center, the Jay Craft Center and, in Saranac Lake, the Church of St. Luke, BluSeed Studios and the Adirondack Artists' Guild.

The Artists' Guild, at 52 Main St., Saranac Lake, is "Studio Tour Central," where free booklets can be picked up and questions answered. Booklets are also available at the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce visitor center at 193 River St.
