TUPPER LAKE - A local man was sentenced to jail time after pleading guilty Monday to first-degree sex abuse.
David Storms, 27, of Tupper Lake, was arrested in January for having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl. He was originally charged with sex abuse in the first degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child and selling tobacco to a minor.
Franklin County Court Judge Robert Main Jr. sentenced Storms to 180 days in Franklin County Jail, 10 years of probation and restitution in the amount of $1,531.13.
