SARANAC LAKE - BluSeed presents printmaker and book artist Diane Fine and Susan Greenspan in their exhibition titled "Duo." Each artist will be showing works on paper - prints that honor the tradition of printmaking and photography while embracing contemporary digital methods - from today through Oct. 27.
A meet-the-artists reception and gallery talk will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, free and open to the public.
Fall gallery hours are from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday or by appointment.

Fine is professor of art at Plattsburgh State University, where she teaches printmaking and book arts. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Diane exhibits regularly, and her work is represented in public and private collections including the New York Public Library and the Yale University Art Gallery. She has had residencies at the MacDowell Colony and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her broadsides and artist books have been produced under the Moonkosh Press imprint since 1985.
Greenspan lives in the Hudson Valley, is an adjunct faculty member at Ramapo College of New Jersey and does freelance illustration and design. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College and her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her photography and video work have been exhibited at venues including Apexart in New York City and the Ingenuity Festival in Cleveland. Her photo project, "My Rock is a Purse," appeared in Issue No. 33 of Cabinet Magazine.
