FORT DRUM (AP) - Air National Guard units are continuing to practice close air support bombing runs at the Army's Fort Drum, so people in parts of northern New York can expect to hear military aircraft and explosions.
New York military officials say F-16 jets from units in New Jersey and Vermont will be exercising along with controllers from New York, New Jersey and other states today through Friday.
They said Monday that much of the activity will be at night to simulate typical combat operations.
