PAUL SMITHS - Word has been received of the death of Dr. C. David Merkel, 75, of Park Avenue, Saranac Lake, who died on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A funeral service is tentatively set to take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Church of St. Luke the Beloved Physician. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Paul Smiths.
