The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series, presented by Adirondack "By Owner," concluded its seventh annual season with its final performance on Aug. 14 by Grammy nominee Ruthie Foster.
The seven weekly performances, which ran from July 3 through Aug 14, featured local, regional and national acts in the scenic and historic setting of Mid's Park on Main Street, Lake Placid. The music series' mission is to provide free concerts that introduce residents and visitors to a diverse range of musical genres and to provide exposure and experience to emerging artists in a scenic and relaxing setting. This year's series was highly successful, boasting both record attendance and stellar performances by local, regional and national artists.
In its seventh year, The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series, presented by Adirondack "By Owner," is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that is comprised of a volunteer committee with all expenses covered by sponsorship and donations. It is truly a community inspired initiative.
