SARANAC LAKE - Saranac Village at Will Rogers is looking for eight more players for a 16-player chess tournament on Saturday, Sept. 22, starting at 10 a.m.
The entry fee of $13 is 100 percent returnable with cash prizes. Team play allows two players to share a four-game schedule on one entry fee.

The Will Rogers' Chess Knights meet every Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. for lessons, analysis, games and refreshments. The public is welcome; children under 17 may attend with an adult. A lesson series is available for beginners.
