PIERCEFIELD - A Jeep rolled over after being struck at a right angle by the car behind it Monday afternoon, but there was only one minor injury, police said.

Tupper Lake-based state police said the white Jeep Grand Cherokee was turning onto Setting Pole Dam Road from state Route 3 at about 3:30 p.m. Monday, but the driver of a Nissan sport-utility vehicle behind it didn't realize that and hit the Jeep.

The collision looked bad, with the Jeep overturned and the ceiling crushed in, but it resulted in injuries police characterized as very minor, and no one was transported to the hospital.
