LAKE PLACID - Village water users on Averyville Lane and Old Military Road will experience a disruption in service today due to construction.
Village Clerk Kathryn McKillip said in a press release the disruptions will be caused by replacement of infrastructure and "are expected to last no more than a couple of hours." She told residents to "disregard any flyers which were handed out stating water would be out for two days."
The disruptions will take place from about 9 a.m. to noon on Averyville Road. Crews will then move to Old Military Road near the Lake Placid Elementary School at about 3 p.m., with outages expected to last a few hours.
