SARANAC LAKE - Today was the first day of class for students in the Saranac Lake Central School District, and Petrova Elementary School bustled with children, teachers and parents as the morning buses arrived.
Principal Josh Dann and the school's faculty were there with smiles and helping hands to greet all the youngsters beginning a new year of school.
