Saki Takamura of Sakai, Japan, who attended kindergarten at St. Bernard’s School in Saranac Lake while her father Shiki worked at Trudeau Institute, meets some of her old classmates on Thursday, Aug. 23, in William Morris Park — the first time the girls have seen each other since the Takamuras moved back to Japan. The family visited for the most of a week. From left are Sarah Foley, Rosemary Crowley, Emma Peer, younger sister Sy Takamura, Saki Takamura and Sarah Samperi.
