KEESEVILLE (AP) - State police say they're trying to trace the activities of a man found slain in a village in the eastern Adirondacks.
The Plattsburgh Press-Republican reports that 45-year-old Robert Rennie of Keeseville was found dead early Sunday morning near a footbridge across the AuSable River in his hometown.
Troopers say today an autopsy confirmed Rennie was killed, but they haven't released details about how. They're asking anyone with information about his whereabouts Saturday or Sunday to contact them.
The newspaper says Rennie was a widowed father of two young girls who was well known and liked in Keeseville, a community on the Clinton-Essex county line.
