To the editor:
Janet Duprey is once again running for Assembly, and once again we hear her opponents making all kinds of claims and accusations. We could take the time to go through each allegation, but Janet does a good job of defending herself without our help. As a friend of Janet's, we're going to tell you about issues that she deals with on an almost daily basis.
Janet's office is continually called by constituents from across her district with problems that they are encountering with one issue or another. They all get her personal attention, and she does so without any fanfare or notice, and she gets great satisfaction by helping people. In some cases, the issues fall outside of her ability to help, but she takes the extra step and she uses her many contacts as a means of getting the attention of the people who can help or assist her constituents. She has endlessly helped people with issues that they are having with one state agency or another.
It takes more than going to Albany, working on bills and voting. There is the personal side that most people don't see or ever hear about. There is no doubt that Janet can appear to have a tough exterior, but that tough exterior actually protects the huge heart she has inside. She truly cares about the people she serves and has sacrificed her very limited personal time to help those in need of her assistance. Her ability to help people isn't something that can be easily replaced. Her many years in public service have created a vast arsenal of contacts and associates that she can call on for help. It's for reasons like this that we encourage you to cast your vote for Janet Duprey.
