Edward A. Brown

LONG LAKE - Edward A. Brown, formerly of Poughkeepsie, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012.

He was born Jan. 10, 1946, to Charles E. Brown and Myra (Olmstead) Brown.

Ed was retired from the Local 138 Elevator Union. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Mid County Rod & Gun Club, the Long Lake Fish & Game Club, the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

He is survived by his son Todd and his wife Nanci Brown and their five children of Wyoming; his son William and his wife Nichole Brown of Utah; seven brothers; two sisters; and many nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his ex-wife, Claireanne Cianco, his daughter, Tracy Michelle Brown and his brother William Joseph Brown.

At his request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. A celebration of his life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Mid County Rod & Gun Club.
