CUMBERLAND, Ind. -Mary Katherine Blanchard 78, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012.
Mary was born March 25, 1934, to Ernest and Florence (Walker) Welch in Saranac Lake. She married Earl H. Blanchard, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents and siblings.
Mary is survived by her sons: James (Delia), Randy (Michele) and Alan (Beverly) Blanchard; daughter Susan (Michael) VanDerbark; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who were blessed to have her in their lives.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland, Ind. Funeral service is at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made the American Lung Association.
