CHATEAUGAY - Adirondacks Unplugged announces the return of Ladies of the Canyon to the Chateaugay Town Hall theatre on Saturday, Aug. 25.
Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.
This year's concert will be the USA debut of material from the band's forthcoming sophomore release expected fall 2012.
Musicians and songwriters Maia Davies (vocals, guitars, mandolin, keyboards) Senja Sargeant (vocals, guitars, mandolin), Jasmine Bleile (vocals, guitar) and Anna Ruddick (electric and upright bass, vocals) have their distinct tone and personality, when put together these four voices blend into a single, unique sound.

This record will follow up the debut album "Haunted Woman," which was recorded at Tragically Hip's Bathouse Studios and produced by acclaimed guitarist/producer Colin Cripps (Jim Cuddy, Kathleen Edwards), and garnered rave reviews.
This event is made possible by the support by the town of Chateaugay, The Chateaugay Revitalization Committee, Cabot Cheese, Stewart's, Adirondack Energy and the P.K. Curtin Fund. All proceeds will go directly to the continued renovation of the Chateaugay Town Hall Theatre.
