Tri-Lakes radio company relaunches B100.7-FM in Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH - North Country Radio Inc., parent company of WSLP-FM radio, currently serving the Tri-Lakes and surrounding region, today announced the launch of B100.7, WPLB-FM.

Formerly WXMR, B100.7 will be a community-minded station playing some of the most recognized music from the 1980s, '90s and today. According to station management, B100.7 will serve the interests of the communities in and around Plattsburgh and the "Adirondack Coast" - i.e., Lake Champlain shore.

The weekday lineup will include morning host John Harper, news reporter Sandy Caligiore, midday host Angie Evans and Program Director Paul Varga in the afternoons.

"We are so incredibly excited to be able to bring a sound, and really, an overall philosophy to the Plattsburgh area that will connect with the community and businesses in a way like never before," said Jim Williams, vice president of North Country Radio Inc. and general sales manager of B100.7 along with sister station 93.3 WSLP in Lake Placid.
