Surprise welcome for new baby

August 11, 2012
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
From left, Russell and Wade Trieller of Paul Smiths, Melissa and Aine Kline of Bloomingdale, and Terry Trieller of Paul Smiths stand outside Adirondack Medical Center Friday night as a surprise welcome for baby Daniel, who was born Thursday morning. Terry is on the phone calling Daniel’s mother, Christine Walsh, to ask her to come to the window of her hospital room and show the group her new son. The hospital is currently limiting visitors who aren’t immediate family into the birthing center due to an increase locally in pertussis-like illnesses.
