Most people don’t want to be unarmed victims

July 28, 2012
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

To the editor:

In the aftermath of the Aurora theater massacre, the Democrats want to have a discussion about gun control. In my opinion, this places Second Amendment advocates in a quandary because the only thing you can "discuss" with liberals is whether they get everything they want now or later.

I think the "discussion" about gun control is over and a majority of Americans have had enough of it. Most folks don't wish to be unarmed, helpless, frightened victims when they are in danger anymore.
