LONG LAKE - This year's North Country Artist Concert will feature The Three Amigos, a folk and country band from Tupper Lake. Another portion will be by Frank Jacobson, a seasonal resident of Long Lake, who plays the organ, piano and harpsichord. In addition, Rocky Belcher, a Long Lake resident will play boogie and blues on the piano, and Sara Corse will play classical flute.
The concert will be held at 7:30 pm. Thursday, Aug. 2 at the United Methodist Church, in Long Lake.
Long Lake and it's immediate neighbors are blessed with talented musicians, and some of them will get a chance to perform in this Community Participation Concert.
A reception to meet the artists will follow the concert. This concert is part of a series presented by the Long Lake Friends of Music and partially funded by public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program.
In Hamilton County, the Decentralization Program is administered by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, located in Blue Mountain Lake.
