The Upper Saranac Lake Association and all of its members would like to thank Chief Brendan Keough of the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Chief Mark Picerno of the Tupper Lake Volunteer Fire Department and all of their volunteers for the quick actions in putting out the fire at a campsite on Upper Saranac Lake. Your quick response and actions on Tuesday evening (July 10) may have prevented a much bigger and more damaging fire. Thank you from all of us.
