On behalf of the Women's Civic Chamber and the Fourth of July Committee, we want to thank the community for the wonderful turnout and support for our first annual Fourth of July Picnic at Riverside Park!
The day started with the annual Kiddie Parade through downtown and ended up in Riverside Park. The weather was perfect, the hamburgs and hot dogs were delicious, the music was terrific, and the games were a blast!
Thank you to the following groups and organizations that made Saranac Lake come together to celebrate America's Independence Day! Thank you to St. Joseph's Addiction Treatment and Recovery Centers, Joey Izzo and the band Placid, Keith Kogut and the Community Orchestra, the village of Saranac Lake employees, Mayor Clyde Rabideau, the Saranac Lake Youth Center, Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, the Baptist Church, the Presbyterian Church, St. Bernard's School, Literacy Volunteers, Tucker Farms, Katy VanAnden and Sara Posdzich for the organization of the Kiddie Parade, the Boy Scouts, Barbara Wells for putting together the Boat Parade, and a special thank-you to all the hard-working Women's Civic Chamber volunteers! See you next year!
