LAKE GEORGE - A Lake George brewery is expanding distribution across the North Country and upstate New York.

Adirondack Brewery has announced a partnership with High Peaks Distributing of Saranac Lake, formerly Highland Beverage, that will expand its distribution territory into Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties as well as the town of Long Lake in Hamilton County.

The brewery will continue to work with DeCrescente Distributing Company in the 11 counties where its products have been distributed, from Warren County south to Columbia and Greene. It's partnering with other distributors to expand west to the Syracuse and Utica areas.

"By working with DeCrescente Distributing, another family owned, local distributor, we have been able to grow our brand 300 percent in the last year and a half," John Carr, owner of the Adirondack Pub & Brewery said in a press release. "Paired with our new greatly expanded facility and increased production, we decided now was the time to open up our distribution area and High Peaks made the most sense. Located in the heart of the Adirondack Park, we feel that our product will do very well in this area."

The brewery's recent expansion gives it the capacity to produce 8,000 barrels per year.

The brewery's creations include Dirty Blonde Ale, Bear Naked Ale and Beaver Tail Brown.
