To the editor:
Last week I was awakened by a loud BANG outside my window, and the electric power went off. I figured a transformer had blown, so I quickly called the National Grid hotline. In about 15 minutes, a truck was out front, and it was less than an hour from the time I called 'til the power was restored. We are fortunate to have such a responsive and reliable company supplying our electricity.
