Race awarded at canine show

Race, a 5-year-old border collie, owned and handled by Sharon Bishop of Saranac Lake, is shown with the awards he received at the Canine Performance Events Agility East Coast National Competition held June 15 to 17 in Altamont. Race qualified in eight out of nine runs, earning six first place ribbons, a second place and a fourth place in his class. He also was awarded two plaques: one for Reserved Standard in his class and one for second place finish in Games in his class.
