The Robert Louis Stevenson Memorial Cottage and Museum will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday to kick off the summer season. This year's event is presented in support of The Adirondack Arts and Heritage Festival. The festivities will commence with an opening ceremony by special guest bag piper Cameron Anderson and followed by an address by President Rabbi Rita Leonard. The day will continue with a Presentation of Ode To The Haggis by Peter Fish, tours of cottage and collection with curator Mike Delahant and highlight with traditional music by the Mulvey Family. Guests may bring an acoustic instrument to join in. They are scheduled to play at 1:30 p.m. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, sides and drinks. The Reviewers Club will serve desserts and other refreshments The public is welcome. This is a free event but donations are suggested. Transportation for senior's available by calling 518-891-4026.
