June 21, 2012
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

Temperatures topped out at 89 degrees Wednesday in Saranac Lake as Tri-Lakers found ways to beat the heat on the first official day of summer. Several records were broken around the region, including Burlington: 95 (old record, 94 in 1988), Massena: 92 (91 in 1953) and Montpelier tied record at 89 (1953).
