To the editor:
This is a response to Justin Levine.
Dear Misguided Justin:
In point of fact:
1. The top income earners do have the needed income to purchase second, third and fourth homes, and are continuing to do so all over this country and others.
2. Protect the Adirondacks is not an environmentally concerned group; they are a NIMBY organization. Their "goodwill," as you call it, is totally self centered.
3. You're right, Tupper Lake does not have much to offer except beauty, great giving people, outstanding recreational areas, no rush-hour traffic, and peace and quiet. And these benefits will not disappear with a successful Adirondack Club and Resort. The remoteness of Tupper is an attraction.
I suspect you are a very provincial person who has had very limited exposure to other areas of this country and the world. Thus your viewpoint is just that, limited.
