LAKE PLACID - Anna Kathren Clark, 95, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Uihlein Living Center, Lake Placid, where she had been a resident since June 2007.

Mrs. Clark was born July 22, 1916, in Middletown, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Leola (McCollum) Evans. She was raised and lived in Middletown before moving to Uihlein Living Center.

She was the wife of Roger Whitby who passed away in 1962 and William F. Clark who passed away in 1950.

She was the loving mother of four children: Roger E. Whitby, who predeceased her; Roddy C. Whitby and his wife Barbara of Middletown; Carol Ann Maney and her husband Donald of Goshen, N.Y.; and Lynda Loudermilk of Lake Placid. She is also survived by her daughter in law, Jane Whitby, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and her extended family at Uihlein Living Center.

She was predeceased by one sister, Margaret Ritzel.

There are no calling hours. A funeral service will be held at Reiss Memorial Chapel in Uihlein Living Center at a later date to be announced.

The family suggests donations in her memory be made to High Peaks Hospice, P.O. Box 840, Saranac Lake, NY 12983 or Uihlein Living Center, 185 Old Military Road, Lake Placid, NY 12946.

The M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
