Rob Simpson of the Captain Cook’s B team follows the path of the cue ball on a break shot during Thursday’s pool match in Saranac Lake. The matchup between the bar and grill’s B and A teams was the fourth in the best-of-five championship series of the Saranac Lake Pool League. Captain Cook’s B staved off elimination, winning 11-5 to tie the series at two games apiece and force a fifth and deciding match on Tuesday.
