MT. JACKSON, Va. - Jaunita Estelle Goheens, 98, of Mt. Jackson, Va., died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at home.
She was born Dec. 31, 1913, in Orange, Va., a daughter of the late Aurelious and Annie Bickers Kube. Jaunita was married to the late Bernard W. Goheens. She was a homemaker and a member of Valley Baptist Church.
Jaunita had a son, Ronald B. Goheens, who died April 13, 2002. Ronald was from New York.
She is survived by daughters Joyce J. Sharp of Mt. Jackson and Jacqueline B. Zimmerman of Dares Beach, Md.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; also a daughter-in-law, Marie M.K. Goheens, wife of the late Ronald B. Goheens; and two sons-in-law: Ernest Sharp and George Zimmerman.
Jaunita was buried at Sunset View Memorial Gardens on Feb. 29, 2012. She was a great mother and grandmother.
