Tupper Lake village police stopped enforcing the winter parking ban in the village as of about a week ago.
That means people won't be ticketed if they park on village streets overnight.
"Since the driveways are all in pretty tough shape, we're not going to be enforcing it," said Tupper Lake police Chief Tom Fee. "But we do ask people if we do get a snowstorm, please remove your vehicles off the highway. We will ticket if we have a major storm."
The villages of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid still have overnight parking bans in effect.
Saranac Lake police said they will notify the public when the ban is lifted for the year.
Lake Placid police said their ban is in effect until April 30.
