Winter Carnival volunteers honored

Village of Saranac Lake Mayor Clyde Rabideau recognized several groups of volunteers who worked on the 2012 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival at the Feb. 29 village board meeting. Members of the Women’s Civic Chamber which organizes the coronation ceremony and the scavenger hunt received plaques containing resolutions of appreciation from the village.

Village of Saranac Lake Mayor Clyde Rabideau recognized several groups of volunteers who worked on the 2012 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival at the Feb. 29 village board meeting. The Ice Palace builders, who battled several thaws to construct this year’s space and alien themed palace received plaques containing resolutions of appreciation from the village.
