LAKE PLACID - Waltraut Meissner, 88, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, at Uihlein Living Center in Lake Placid, where she had been a resident since August 2010.
She was born in Kassel, Germany, Jan. 3, 1924, the daughter of Johannes and Dora Peter (Weichert) Fett.
