LAKE PLACID - Regina L. Friedrick, 48, of Cascade Road, Lake Placid, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Regina was born in Saranac Lake on Sept. 25, 1963, the daughter of Glenn "Manny" Watson and Joyce Ann Williams.

Regina loved spending time with her family and friends. The time she spent playing with her grandchildren, the cookouts and the family gatherings will all be cherished memories along with her games of Pollyanna, gardening and "Running the Roads."

Regina is survived by her mother, Joyce Peck and her husband Albert of Wilmington; her husband of 28 years, Richard G. Friedrick of Lake Placid; her son, Richard G. Friedrick, II and his wife Ashley of Lake Placid; her daughter, Kayla Ledwith and her husband J.J. of Lake Placid. She is also survived by three sisters: Christine Macy and her companion Jerry Strack of Lake Clear; Joanne Munch and her husband Richard of AuSable Acres; and Glenna Gaudio and her husband Ralph of Utica; and seven grandchildren: Cheyenne, Justine, John, Even, Jacob, Aunestie and Calie. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Sentinel Road, Lake Placid. Rev. William Saxton, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at North Elba Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests donations in memory of Regina be made to High Peaks Hospice, P.O. Box 840, Saranac Lake, N.Y. 12983.
